About us

Serving Gilpin Township since 1941, GTVFD is located in southern Armstrong County. Gilpin is boarded by Leechburg, Bethel Township, and Parks Township, and is also separated from West Leechburg and Allegheny Township by the Kiskiminetas River as well as separated from South Buffalo Township by the Allegheny River. GTVFD runs dual alarms with Leechburg and Bethel Township and also assists many other surrounding communities through mutual aid.
